Who do you want to be?
How do you change your life? The first thing you need to do, is answer the question of.... "Who do you want to be?" I decided that I want to be a healthy person. Next, I asked what does a healthy person do? I then started laying out the ground work with building new intentional behaviors. Intentional behaviors means building good habits, but be intentional about it.
Get started out with one behavior, and then gradually add more as you go along on your journey. The most important part is to just get started, and let the plan take form as you go. It took me about 9 months to create and implement all of the above intentional behaviors into my daily life. They take work and effort. If you keep at it, one day they will become instinct, a part of who you are. It will become intrinsic to your identity. Your behaviors can be different than mine, they should form the person you want to be.
Once you see a little success with this in one area of your life. You will understand that you can apply this to all areas of your life. You can change your marriage, your relationship with your kids, your profession, your finances, or life mission. You ultimately can use intentional behaviors to create the person you want to be.
Before, I just kind of existed with no clear direction of who I wanted to be or where I wanted to go. Life has changed in so many ways since learning and applying intentional behaviors.
